Grants – 4 Steps

Grants – 4 Steps

A great place to start with pulling together the demographic profile of your area/project is ID.com.au/

Their Grant Application Guide points out the 4 areas that are often overlooked when writing grants:

  1. Setting the Strategic Context.  What are the drivers of your economy, population, industry contect, forecasts, barriers to growth. Most importantly – what are the outcomes of similar projects.
  2. Model the Economic Impact of the Project.  Gather economic impacts, visitations, look at modelling for impact of an event or construction.
  3. Cost Beneft Assessment.  Work with an economist to project this data.
  4. Assess the Wider Community Benefits.  Look at disadvantage analysis indicators, and quantitative evidence.
